WHAT IS COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a farming model in which community members pledge support to the farm at the beginning of the season. In return, you pick up a share of the harvest every week. In this way, the growers and members provide mutual support in their food production, thereby creating a true community farm. By purchasing a 16-week share you are investing in our farms future, helping to facilitate our success and vibrancy. Not only does it help us out tremendously, but it can help you eat seasonally, experience new flavors & try new recipes! Our C.S.A members will be invited for special on farm events and tours as well. It’s a win-win!
Both partners share in the risks and rewards of small-scale farming: weather, insect damage, and fantastic tasting veggies. CSA restores the lost connection between people and agriculture by providing an opportunity for members to be directly connected to how their food is grown. It's about more than just vegetables!
Each week you will pick up one box with 6-10 vegetables from our farm and a delicious recipe featuring a few of those items. Example below!

16-week Organic Farm Box membership!
Convenient on farm pick-up every WEDNESDAY from 3-6pm, starting June 7th and continuing thru Sept 20th.
Pick-up Locations: At our farm every WEDNESDAY! Conveniently located at 435 W. 16th St. near downtown Chico.
Option to add: Fresh loaf of Camina Bakery Organic Sourdough Bread(+$9 a week)
Option to add: Dozen large Organic & Pasture raised Eggs from Taste Of Freedom(+$9 a week)
Payment: Choose to pay in full now or opt for monthly payments. If you choose monthly payments, you'll pay for the month of June as well as any pre-order fees now. July 1st you'll receive an invoice and you can set up automatic monthly payments at that time.

What's in the box?
Our seasonal Farm Box will offer a mix of 6-10 Certified Organic vegetables per box, the contents are farmer curated and the best of what’s in season. By purchasing a share of our CSA you are helping us with a guaranteed home for our crops while providing you with delicious vegetables in exchange. We cannot accommodate late pick-ups.

Learn to eat seasonally! See the farm where your food is grown! Get bulk discounts and preserve the harvest!
We are collaborating with our friend Maverick Watson and others to bring a weekly recipe featuring the items from the box each week to help you eat outside of your norm. We may not have the time to write an in-depth weekly newsletter, but we do eat very well and will be sharing beautiful photographs and recipes of our favorite seasonal meals.

How does a C.S.A program directly benefit the farm?
The Winter & Spring months are the most financially stressful times(especially when you’re starting a new farm from the ground up) of the season for farmers because it is when we are spending the most capital, while bringing in the least. We purchase compost, potting soil, seeds, tools, amendments, irrigation supplies, remay, netting, T-posts, produce boxes, etc. during this time. We also have payroll, rent for the farm land, water and power bills, costs to fix tools and tractor implements. You’re investing in local food security and your health by buying vibrant fresh food grown regeneratively & organically.
