Burns Blossom Farm began with a dusty plot full of star thistle and pocket gophers that we’ve completely transformed into four beautiful acres of good eating, wildlife habitat, pollinator haven. We wanted land that kept us rooted in our community but gave us enough room to grow with intention. It’s become so much more than acreage, it’s become a living, breathing, certified organic farm we’re proud to steward. What brings us joy is watching wildlife move onsite from foxes, snakes, native pollinators, hawks and owls. In August 2025, we took an exciting next step by leasing an additional 12 acres right next door because the momentum of the local food movement keeps our wheels turning!

We grow a whole lot of trellised tomatoes and seed garlic, they’re cornerstones of our farm, but diversity is at the heart of what we do. We grow berries, cut flowers, peppers, greens, and a wide mix of seasonal vegetables for local markets, our farm club, wholesale, and multiple food hubs. We care deeply about flavor, quality, and healthy soil.

For the biggest impact our farm is focused on year-round production. Nine caterpillar tunnels and a high tunnel greenhouse help us extend the seasons. A half-acre shade structure and trellis system supports our organic raspberries and thornless blackberries. At the center of our daily rhythm is our newly completed wash and pack barn, designed to make harvest days smoother, more efficient, and more enjoyable for the whole team.

Infrastructure is only part of the story. Burns Blossom Farm is also a space for curiosity and improvement. We’re committed to soil health and long-term sustainability, actively working with cover crops, occultation, grown-in-situ mulch systems, and refining no-till and low-till practices across our acres. We’re always learning, always adjusting, and always asking how we can do it better together.
