This seed has followed us on our farm journey from the sandy soil of the Northern California Coast, to the clay and snow of the Sierra Nevada foothills and finally to the rich loam of the Northern Sacramento Valley at our farm in Chico. It has grown and adapted beautifully in all three climates & soil types. We have been growing and nurturing this variety since 2017!
The cloves are unparalleled in beauty with shades of pink, purple and red. Aglio Rosso di Nubia is a Creole type from Sicily that often forms a harvestable scape yet has still been pliable enough to braid in our experience. The flavor is rich, sweet and spicy and stores incredibly for over a year!
